Most of my watercolor landscapes are of the rural mid-west. And many depict buildings and artifacts that are in some state of decline. I've long been attracted to "rust, ruin and physical collapse" as subject matter. Capturing the manifestations of existence in watercolor while challenging is a very rewarding experience.
